The Hair Loss Timeline Nobody Tells You About
Hair follows a biological clock. Expecting results on a monthly cycle is why most people quit before treatment works.

Follicles cycle over months, so any therapy that changes the cycle takes months to show. The first visible sign of success is often an increase in shedding.
Months 0–3: the shed
Treatment pushes resting follicles into a new growth phase, and the old hairs release. Increased shedding at week 4–8 is expected and usually a good sign.
Months 3–6: stabilization
Loss slows and density stops declining. This is the real clinical win and is easy to miss without baseline photos.
Months 6–12: regrowth
Thickening and regrowth of miniaturized follicles becomes visible. Standardized photos at fixed intervals are the only reliable way to judge it.
